11+ Grammar School Entrance Exams
The 11+ examinations are split into:
- Verbal Reasoning
- Non Verbal Reasoning
- Maths
- English (Reading comprehension/literacy skills)
Our tutors have an in depth knowledge and understanding of teaching all four segments of the 11+ as well as specific and key requirements for individual grammar schools. 11 plus examinations are extremely stressful for parents and pupils. We assist our parents in the grammar school application process by matching their child's strengths and weaknesses to the varying requirements of individual school assessments. We are honest and realistic about a child's potential, giving regular feedback to parents on progress within the 11 plus programme. We pride ourselves in our diligent and comprehensive approach towards the tutoring process and though we don't and can't guarantee and 100% success rate, we can and do guarantee a 100% effort on our part, which more often than not yields successful results.
KS1 and KS2 Primary English, Maths and Science (years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6)

SATs and end of year examinations preparation
English, maths and science are taught by qualified and experienced tutors in preparation for SATs, end of key stage and end of year examinations. Our teachers have first hand knowledge and experience of the National Curriculum for all the key stages of a child's education. We aim to get all our pupils to not only comfortably reach any target levels set or predicted by their school teachers, but go beyond these target levels and reach their true potential.
GCSEs English, Maths and Science (years 9, 10 and 11)
English, maths and science (physics, chemistry and biology) are taught by qualified and experienced tutors in preparation for GCSEs in years 10 and 11. Our tutors have an in depth knowledge of specific coursework and examination requirements for the different GCSE examination boards. We focus on exam technique and basic understanding of concepts and principles. The resources we use are board specific, ensuring our pupils learn the correct content; to gain the best possible grades they are capable of.
AS and A2 Levels Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics
Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics are taught by qualified and experienced tutors in preparation for AS and A2 examinations in years 12 and 13. Our tutors have an in depth knowledge of specific coursework and examination requirements for the different AS and A2 examination boards. We focus on exam technique and basic understanding of concepts and principles. The resources we use are board specific, ensuring our pupils learn the correct content; to gain the best possible grades they are capable of.
