Programmes of Study

We run the following study programmes:

The first and second programmes listed above are available for all our subjects and courses we cater for. A short description of the individual programmes is given below.

Weekly small group tuition

Small groups of no more than 6 pupils studying the same subjects at the same level are taught by a qualified teacher and where necessary with help from a teaching assistant. The lessons are planned to the individual needs of the individual pupils and as our group sizes are small, we insure that each and every pupil receives individual attention.

This personalised tuition programme runs weekends only during the academic year (minus allocated holidays). Pupils can enrol at any time of the year. However, we do strongly recommend enrolling at the beginning of the academic year to fully complete and take advantage of the programme.

These sessions are normally 1 to 2 hours long.

Weekly one to one tuition

At the centre

In consultation with a pupil and their parents, our teachers devise a personalised learning programme focused on the strengths, weaknesses and specific needs of an individual pupil.

These personalised tuition programme run weekends only during the academic year (minus allocated holidays). Pupils can enrol at any time of the year.

These sessions are normally 1 to 2 hours long.

At a pupils home

Home visits are very similar to one to one tuition sessions at the centre, the main difference being they are at a pupil's home, available throughout the year and at any time convenient to the tutor and pupil. We provide and bring all resources to the pupil's home.

These sessions are normally 1 to 2 hours long.

Combined English and Maths booster classes

English and maths are the two main core subjects within the National Curriculum and have both proved very popular with many of our parents and pupils. To cater for both subjects simultaneously we have devised a combined English and maths booster class. These classes mean pupils get valuable support for both key subjects on a weekly basis. Small groups of no more than 6 pupils' study 1 hour of English followed by 1 hour of maths with a 10 minute break in the middle. Pupils are in similar levelled groups and are taught by a qualified teacher and where necessary with help from a teaching assistant. The lessons are planned to the individual needs of the individual pupils and as our group sizes are small, we ensure that each and every pupil receives individual attention.

The programme structure guarantees parents get excellent value for money and more importantly pupils get constant ongoing support for two key subjects. These personalised tuition programme run weekends only during the academic year (minus allocated holidays). Pupils can enrol at any time of the year. However, we do strongly recommend enrolling at the beginning of the academic year to fully complete and take advantage of the programme.

These sessions last for 2 hours.
